Whether you are a size 6 or a larger size, bathing suits depend for the most part on the body type and bust type. What feels comfortable for you might not be comfortable for someone else.
For example, underwire bathing suits are harder to find than other sizes, and yet they are more important. For an overweight woman, the bathing suit she chooses can make her look awesome, or very bad. In her case a bikini is definitely not a good choice, and neither are stripes.
