If I’m hand-washing, I use Woolite & luke-warm water. Most of my underclothing is cotton however, so it goes in the lingerie bags (with the zippers) and into the regular laundry.
you can use anything as long as it doesn’t irritate your skin and it actually gets your clothes clean.
woolite makes a darks and lights product that works really well. also wacoal makes a specific lingerie cleaning solution (you can find it at department stores in the lingerie section, such as dillard’s).
i personally run my lingerie through the washing machine in a lingerie bag and let it hang dry.
HTH!
I wash my bras with everything else in the washing machine, but I never put them in the dryer; I let them line dry in the house.
I’m very pleased with the results. I hate to hand wash, so this is a good compromise for me.
Oh, I’m sure what you do is just fine; personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to go to the trouble, however.
i wash my bras in the washing machine all the time. just be sure to close the clasps first or they will get out of shape…
Regular washer load – - not hot and no bleach. Hook all clasps together so the clasps do not ‘hook’ or snap other clothes. If unsure, put into a laundry bag or put bras in a pillow case & close prior to wash.
