A true corset is not going to be cheap, if it’s going to last and also fit properly. They almost have to be custom-made to fit right.
If you have some sewing skills, I’ve heard good things about the Laughing Moon corset patterns.
You mentioned sexy, so I’m assuming you want a curvy Victorian-style, not the simpler-to-make straight-fronted Elizabethan or Colonial style.

Stop looking for “plus size” and look into custom made. There are tons of websites for people who make them (in varying degrees of quality).
You will never get a better fit nor better quality/durability from an off-the-rack corset (from Vicky’s or Freddy’s) as you will from a custom made corset. There won’t be tight spots, uneven gaps, and such because it will be made to *your* measurements. A wonderful source is:

Without a doubt, it will be more expensive. However, if you get a cheap one that fits poorly and you give up on it after an hour of wearing it, you’ve wasted your money as compared to a custom, comfortable corset that you’ll be happy to wear and proud to show off…getting your money’s worth again and again.
