yes they work. but it’s an illusion when u take it off your ack to normal…. they also tend to squeeze your fat through the bottom or top

They don’t slim you permanently. They only give you a slimmed apperarence for however long you have them on.

    it’s not permanent.
it’s only for the amount of time your wearing them.

    no. it’s definitely not permanent

Corsets work permanently only if you NEVER take them off. Not worth it. Instead, walk, exercise, and firm up. Use them only for special occasions to keep the fatty areas in control. If you aren’t too heavy, control-top stockings also work for special occasions. Take a stroll through a lingerie department, try on various items, and then see which you can endure for a party, or whereever you will wear it. Then, instead of getting a hamburger or pizza on the way home, think healthy eating, and you may not need the corset.

    Good luck.

Nothing will slim your waist permanently. For corsetting to do it you have to always wear them which unless you’re dedicated, *****. I corset, the real steel boned thing and the best part is taking it off. A tightly laced corset worn long enough will adjust your shape for a brief time after you take it off but your body will go back to the way it was, remember, women in the Victorian age used to get ribs removed to acheive that look. The hourglass shape means not losing all the body fat in that area, you need it to conture the shape, you need more flexibility than just muscle. Lose some of the fat and gain yourself some muscle tone coz the first girl is right, it will push the fat up and down and you end up with rolls above and below, not so attractive.

If you’re just looking for a way to slim the waist, diet or surgery.

True corsets (the lace up ones with hard boning) will permanently make your waist smaller because of the constriction that it places on your bones. These will also cause your internal organs to be rearranged. Of course, this will only happen after years of constant wear and will not be a good thing later on in life.

If you’re asking this because you’re overweight, diet and exercise really are the way to go. Talk to a doctor about diet and exercise options that will suit you.
