How long will it be till I can sew my own corsets?

I know thаt mаkіnɡ corsets (thе real deal, wіth steel boning аnԁ lacing) іѕ difficult, аnԁ wаѕ јυѕt wondering roughly hοw long ԁο уου thіnk іt wіƖƖ bе before I саn try аnԁ mаkе one.
I think corsets will be quite difficult to make until you have lots of experience. I’m not sure how long it will take you, but I would say practice the basics first, then work your way up to boned tops first until you feel ready to try and make a full corset.
How long it will take depends on your diligence progressing up in skill levels. See if your local community college or Art Institute offers Sewing classes and start at the bottom and keep working your way up. Lots of practice and intentionally making yourself learn new skills will be the keys to getting to your goal faster.
