The last place I saw a pattern like that was Annie’s Crochet. It’s probably pay, but you said that’s OK.

(I was never brave enough to try it!)

It might take some time to scan my files since I’m packing to move, but I’m pretty sure I have some 2 piece suit patterns, but they are written for knitting. They would provide the schematic to be able to figure out the rest if you’re fairly comfortable with designing your own patterns.

Just let me know all I’ll take a look this weekend.

i would think that would be a horrible thing to try to make fit. i cant imagine it working at all, take it from a fat broad.

I have several patterns, including swimsuits. I have a two piece triangle type pattern that could be easily turned into a nice tankini if that’s what you wanted to try. Also, you could find a pattern for bottoms and then a pattern for a tank top or halter top and I think it would make a nice suit. Make sure if you use a light color though that you get a liner because the last thing you want to do is get wet and show all your parts!! Also keep the material you plan to use in mind if you’re going to be swimming. Some yarns tend to stretch when they get wet or then turn around and shink when drying in the sun.

As far as it not working out because you’re plus sized, I say go for whatever makes you happy and you feel comfortable with.

Contact me on messenger and we can go through my patterns together if you want to.
