I’d probably go to both stores, buy something, and compare the quality and comfort.
But really, the alternative one sounds nice.
if the shop had lingerie that made me feel **** and feminine I would have no problem shopping there. were i shop is a small local shop that has a man working there that is very good with us ladies and that is why i go there. he is a great listener and i value his opinion. He does everything but fittings.

Well, I have found that Vic Sec does not really have anything super **** and the things that they do have are pretty pricy. I like Frederick’s because they have fettish type things. I think that if you carried maybe a little **** and toys you could beat out both of them, especially if your lingere is cheaper and looks just as good and has the same quality.
Personally, I refuse to shop at VS (mass market, boring, over priced crap), and Fredericks stuff is just plain cheap and poorly made. From a boutique shop I want QUALITY. Wolford, La Perla, Cosa Bella… in one place. Since this is special occassion stuff, you are better off focusing on high quality instead of low price.
I also know there is a huge demand for larger sized bras that would appeal to younger women. Ever notice how many 32 E girls come hear asking where they can shop for stuff that doesn’t look hideous?
I’d also suggest having at least a limited selection of high-quality, **** outwear as well. Those special occassion, “weekend in Vegas/South Beach/someplace where no one knows me” clothes that we might only wear once but don’t care
Definitely! Being in a small business in the fashion industry, I admire and prefer a specialty lingerie boutique over its corporate counterpart.
As for things I would like to see in a lingerie store, I would say fun things like wigs and shoes (not normally in Victoria’s Secret).
