sorry thats all i can think of.
Fashion Bug, Torrid, Nordstrom, Dot’s, Rainbow, Maurices are all extremely fashionable clothing for thicker women.
I also found Steve & Barry’s and they carry some bigger sizes (up to size 20 I believe). Wal*Mart carries some bigger and nicer clothing.
K mart, target, Walmart look around in these o yea and Torrid if there is one around you
torrid. i am plus size too and i absolutely love this store. they always know whats in style and you can wear the same styles as they have in other stores but they fit great. i personally love this store and i think you should try it out. =] good luck
alight.com often has some cute things, and old navy has a plus section that is only avilable online.
try mervyns or target. they have them for cheap.
you can try catalogs….like lerner metrostyle and newport-news.com they have normal size and plus size clothes and their cute…….
i nkow a whole bunch more but i forget what they were if i remeber ill come back…..
my friends mom is like you. so she shops at catherines. its like lane bryant but she says its better
Deb is good. Try Banana Republic or Ann Taylor or something. And JC Penney’s, Sears, Bon-Ton, Kohl’s, Macy’s, any department store really, would have what you’re looking for! Here’s some links:

Has cool clothes, maybe not for work though.
will make you a custom swimsuit. I use my suits for 4 or more seasons anyway, so for me, the cost is 1/4.
Also, is great for cool textures and fabrics. Maybe too old for you, I’m 33, but I love what I find there.
Plus, many stores have plus sizes in their catalog or on line. If you can shell out the $ up front get a couple of sizes. I’m a big fan of ordering to try on at home and then sending back what I don’t like.
Also, stores like llbean, land’s end and old navy because the cut their clothes big for a size. (Always nice!) If you pick and choose from the mom and grandma clothes, you can get cheap and fashionable work clothes. Just don’t use the models as your guide!!!!
I get a lot of inexpensive(for suits) at Macy’s and sometimes Eddie Bauer. Macy’s is more stylish and Eddie Bauer is more work classic and casual (boring but necessary).
It sounds lame, but most of us work at a place that is usually a fashion black hole. I try to get outrageous necklaces, bright colors and over-the-top shoes as a tiny rebellion. Any combo of blazer, cardigan, and silky feel or really well ironed chino or linen seems to work for business casual.
Of course, you know the chains: Avenue and LaneBryant at the malls.
Good Hunting!
